Are you interested in Data Management Maturity Trends 2019-2024?
This article series examines the evolution of data management (DM) capability and its core components from 2019 to 2024.
The analysis is based on annual reviews of DM maturity assessments published on the Data Crossroads website. These reviews draw on results from the Data Management Maturity Scan—a free, anonymous self-assessment tool developed by Data Crossroads and grounded in the O.R.A.N.G.E. Data Management Model.
Throughout the series, we will examine:
- The foundational principles behind building a maturity model for data management and its constituent components
- A comparison of maturity measurement approaches used by four major industry guidelines: DAMA-DMBOK2, DCAM®, CDMC™, and TOGAF®
- Maturity trends in the overall data management capability and its key sub-capabilities: data governance, data modeling, information systems architecture (data and application), metadata management, and data quality
- Maturity trends in KPIs used to evaluate these core data management capabilities
This series is designed to support data professionals and organizations in benchmarking their progress, identifying areas for improvement, and aligning their efforts with industry-wide trends.
